Jan 31 2010 – Billy Idol is rumored to be Aerosmith’s hot favorite to become their lead singer. Bill Idol was supposed to see Aerosmith for a discussion but he caught a cold and missed his meeting.
Steven Tyler may be getting his exit from Aerosmith soon. Tyler had been battling personal problems and the band had been waiting a long time for him to overcome those.
Tyler had spoken about leaving the band last year. However, he later backtracked and denied having soloist ambitions. Despite refuting rumors that he was quitting Aerosmith, the rest of the band seemed tired of contradictory remarks. Aerosmith may be finally taking the hint and started looking for replacements.
The band did not want to be in a state of limbo and talk started about the manhunt for a replacement singer.
Steven Tyler’s real name is Steven Victor Tallarico. He’s coming to 62 years old on March 26. Tyler became a well known drug and alcohol addict in the 1970s.
By 1986, Tyler had been into rehab and succeeded in beating back the demons for 20 years. Misfortune struck Tyler in 2009 when he had surgery for some problems and became addicted to painkillers. Tyler was admitted into rehab for this problem. The band was vexed because their hope to tour was dashed.
British Billy Idol was once a member of “Generation X”, a punk rock band. Idol, who was born William Michael Albert Broad, later left Generation X, to start his solo career. Idol will be 55 on November 30.
Idol made music videos to bank in on the craze for entertainment rock. His semi permanent musician is Steve Stevens, a guitarist. Idol tours widely to gain global fans.

Steven Tyler’s new manager, Skip Miller, has threatened to sue the rest of the band Aerosmith if they hire a new lead singer. He said Tyler does not intend to sing as a solo singer and break away from the band.
Aerosmith asked Lenny Kravitz to become their lead singer but Kravitz declined the offer. The band also asked Paul Rodgers.
Skip Miller has asked the entire band to meet up to discuss the future of Aerosmith.

Steven Tyler may have resolved some of his problems as he wrote that he was excited to be included in the UK’s Download Festival, in June 2010.

And Billy Idol couldn’t begin to sing a Steven Tyler song. Old rockers should burn out, not fade away. Steven is burnt out, as he should be. The rest of the band are fading. All rock n roll bands should break up when they hit 40.
