Ronnie and Donnie Galyon may be the oldest set of conjoined twins in the world. The Galyon twins were born on Oct 28, 1951.

The Galyon twins are conjoined from the sternum to the groin. The Galyons can not be separated because they share one set of organs. The Galyon twins used to be exhibitionists in sideshows. The Galyons traveled throughout the US and Latin American. The Galyon twins have retired but make occasional special appearances. The most recent TV appearance was on a Channel Five TV documentary.

Ronnie and Donnie Galyon used to work in a touring carnival. The Galyon twins have recently retired from their jobs. They are 58 years old in 2010. Their health is deteriorating and they are faced with being institutionalized in a center to receive care. They retired and live in their home in Dayton, Ohio.

The Galyon twins have a younger brother, Jim Galyon, living in Beavercreek. He has volunteered to help his brothers by letting stay with him. The Christian Youth Corps, a charity in NY, has volunteered to help modify Jim’s home to accommodate for the special needs of the twins.
