Craig Arnold is missing. Arnold was last seen on Monday, April 27. Arnold was last seen at Kuchinoerabu, an island with a volcano, about 12 km off Yakushima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture, in Japan.

Craig Arnold is a poet and professor at the University of Wyoming. Arnold taught poetry at the University.

Kuchinoerabu has a small population of 150. Kuchinoerabu is a tourist attraction with hot springs and fishing areas.

Yakushima police have started searching for Arnold.
