Jennifer Glassman has sued Teri Hatcher for fraud, deceit, wrongful termination and emotional distress. Glassman claimed Hatcher, an actress in Desperate Housewives, recruited her to join her production company as the Vice President but fired her before the client paid money, thereby, cutting Glassman off from her alleged share. Glassman used to work as a public relations officer before lured away by Hatcher, to work for Hatcher’s production company.

Steven Slater, 38, from Flushing, Queens, NY, was a JetBlue flight attendant who fought back after a passenger cursed him. The plane touched down on the tarmac of JKF Airport Terminal 5, and was taxiing into position. Slater told a cabin passenger to sit back until it was safe for him to unload his baggage from the overhead compartment.

The man ignored Slater, pulled down the bag, hit Slater and then he called Slater a m- f-. Slater retaliated by making an announcement over the plane’s intercom to berate the passenger and returned the name calling by saying f- y- to him. Slater threw down his lot by saying he quit, but not before grabbing two beers from the galley.

Slater activated the emergency exit, slide down the chute to the tarmac, then realized he forgot his cabin luggage. Slater returned to the plane, got his bag and left the plane again. Slater rode the AirTrain to the JetBlue car park where he drove himself home.

Police arrested Slater at his home. Slater faces criminal mischief and trespassing charges. Those charges carry a maximum of 7 years in jail.

Steven Slater was not always a gay man. Slater was once the husband of Cynthia Susanne, in the 1990s.
Steven Slater was jailed at Rikers Island pending a $2500 bail. Slater is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

Steven Slater was having sex with his boyfriend when police showed up at his home to arrest him. Slater was charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and criminal trespassing.

Slater is a recovering alcoholic who may have had a relapse when he grabbed two beers from the plane’s galley before he left it. Slater is allegedly HIV positive. Slater’s mother has fatal cancer.

Diane Slater, Steven’s mother, has spoken up to defend her son. Ms Slater said the female passenger was overly abusive.

The flight attendants nationwide have grouped together to donate money to help Steven.

Steven Slater has been sprung from jail. His close friend posted $2500 bail for Slater and whisked him away in a minivan.

JetBlue did not fire Steven Slater but suspended him from work pending the results of the investigation. JetBlue responded to Andy Borowitz, the comedian, via Twitter, to chastise him for cracking jokes on calling flight attendants m-f.

JetBlue is compensating every passenger on board the flight that Steven Slater quitted on. JetBlue is giving away a $100 voucher for the inconvenience caused on that day.

Steven Slater posted a message on an airline message board to voice his concern on new pressures on flight attendants and problems with carry-on baggage.

When the press greeted him outside his home upon his release from prison, Slater only said he was glad to be back home. Thereafter, Slater quickly sought refuse inside his home.

Goodrich, the manufacturer of the inflatable emergency evacuation slide, is pleased with Steven Slater, for demonstrating the functional usage of the slide for the JetBlue Embraer ERJ-190 airplane.

Updated Aug 13 2010 – Steven Slater has reversed his earlier decision. Slater is backpedaling and saying he wants to return to work as a flight attendant. Slater wants his old job back. Slater and his lawyer are negotiating with the DA on a deal that would settle infamous incident.

Aug 12 2010 – American Airlines is on the alert for copycat Steven Slater wannabes. On Aug 12, a pilot flying American Airlines Flight 345, from NY to Chicago, reminded passengers that their flight attendants are around to ensure the safety of passengers and perform flight service for passengers. Some passengers giggled nervously.

Spirit Airlines created an ad to spoof JetBlue and take advantage of their competitor’s publicity. Fly Spirit with a $35 discount coupon. Tag that against their $45 carry-on luggage policy and you still have to pay $10 for your carry-on bag.

Steven Slater hired a big star to handle his Hollywood press releases. Slater and Howard Bragman stump together now. Slater and Bragman bonded over a Barry Manilow concert, in Atlantic City, because, like everyone knows, the common factor influences decisions. Slater has allegedly received the offer to host his own reality TV show, on how to help people to quit their jobs.
