Peaches Geldof is separated from her husband Max Drummey. Geldof, 19, decided to split with Drummey, 24. Geldof and Drummey were married for 6 months.

Geldof had hinted that her marriage was in trouble in 2008.Geldof said she did not expect her marriage to last forever. Geldof lives in New York with a girlfriend and does not live with her husband. Geldof has issued a statement through her representative. Geldof said their split was amicable.

Geldof was said to be close friends with her ex boyfriend, Faris Badwin, 21, of the band called The Horrors. Geldof also has another close male friend, Donald Cumming, a musician in The Virgins band in NY. There were rumors that Drummey was angry over Geldof’s friendships with her male friends.

A source said that Geldof may have married Drummey to get a working visa to live in New York. Another said Geldof married in the heat of the moment.
